Science Day at Centre for Life
Following the recent very successful one-day event another day is planned for 22nd
September 2010. The content will be different. £10 charge includes coffee, buffet
lunch and tea.

Mini Medical Course at the Centre for Life
Starts on 15th September - a special course for U3A members with little or no knowledge
of the subjects. Weekly sessions, each led by different professors, are 2 hours
long and held on six consecutive Wednesday afternoons. Cost is £30. There are still

Bowes Study Day
OVERSUBSCRIBED - NOW A WAITING LIST
This 1-day event on Monday 4th October at The Bowes Museum is open to all regional
members. Study groups will include the new Textile Gallery and Art Appreciation.
The cost for the day including lectures, tour of the museum, morning coffee and
afternoon tea is £16.00*. (Lunch is not included). More details and application

*Friends of Bowes get a £5 reduction.
