Nunnington Hall/Helmsley

Our first outing for 2010 will be on Wednesday, 14th July and will be to Helmsley and Nunnington Hall. We will leave from the side of the Dolphin Centre at 9.30am and should arrive in Helmsley around 11.00am. We will stay until 2.pm giving us plenty of time for a look around the town or the castle and there is a wider choice of places for lunch. We will then go on to Nunnington Hall. There are three floors to the house but no lift.  The stairs are quite easy with plenty of places to rest and there is a small reading room where you can sit and stay at your leisure.   As the grounds are not too large we should be able to fit everything in by 4.30pm when we will leave for home. Entrance to the house is £5.60 and the coach fare should be around £10.00 depending on the number of passengers. A deposit of £10.00 is due at the June meeting with the balance payable at the meeting on July 13th.   Please contact me on 266725 if you have any queries. Judith
